IB or International Baccalaureate was founded by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) in the year 1968. It is a non-profit organization, located in Geneva and it has a mission that is: “to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.”
The first program of IB Course was started in 1968 and it was the Diploma Program and later there were made some additions and now the IB Continuum of International Education has three more programs. In the current day world, IB is well known and is a part of the leading global curriculum’s included in well known and reputed universities and educational institutions from all over the world.
